Terranea Resort - Oceanfront Getaway near Los Angeles International

Terranea Resort is located 30 km from Los Angeles International Airport. The resort offers 270 degrees of ocean views, gourmet restaurants and casual cafes, four outdoor swimming pools, an oceanfront spa and fitness center with free yoga classes, and a nine-hole golf course. Guests can relax in Suites, Villas, Bungalows, & Casitas. There is also a conference centre available for guests there on business. The resort partners with Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services. Guests can explore the Palos Verdes Peninsula and surrounding area points of interest, including the South Coast Botanical Gardens, historic Wayfarer's Chapel, and Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. Dining options include an intimate free-standing restaurant with sweeping views, an all-day dining room overlooking the main pool and terrace, and a casual dining and bar option. Guests can choose an aqua or terra activity from pointe discovery such as a coastal hike, falconry, tide pooling, paddle boarding, or kayaking. A GPS guided tour highlights scenic points of interest including Abalone Cove for a quiet walk, the Point Vicente Interpretive Center to watch the whale migration and Portuguese Bend for hiking and wildlife spotting. Even a Sea Salt Conservatory is available for guests to visit between meals.
